All Tierra Verde Handmade Soaps are made using food-grade vegetable oils using the Cold Process method of soap making. Each lovingly made Cold Process soap retains glycerin; a unique by product of the soap making process. Glycerin is “hygroscopic” meaning it attracts moisture from the air and traps it next to your skin helping it retain moisture throughout the day. Unique to handcrafted soap, glycerin is a pure component you will not find in commercial soap.
